About The 2X Ledger
The 2X Ledger publishes educational research about 2X leveraged ETFs, market catalysts, chart interpretation, and hypothetical investing outcomes.
Our publishing standards
- Real market data: chart graphics use authentic market observations; invented AI-generated candlesticks aren't presented as actual prices.
- Transparent hypotheticals: hypothetical scenarios are not actual executed trades. Return calculations disclose the starting and ending price assumptions.
- Dates and sources: time-sensitive claims should identify dates and link to primary sources or official issuer releases when available.
- Risk first: educational material explains daily-reset leverage, losses, and uncertainty as well as potential upside.
- Privacy: no personal brokerage screenshots, proprietary chart drawings, private trading levels, or account balances are published.
- Corrections: factual errors are corrected when identified. New market information does not retroactively turn historical price examples into real trades.
What this site is not
The 2X Ledger is not a brokerage, fund issuer, real-time trading signal service, or personalized investment advisory service. It does not claim that its historical examples represent audited investment performance or promise future results.
Sources and investor education
Where possible, research is grounded in issuer documentation, regulatory filings, and independent public market data. Readers should verify a leveraged ETF's current objective and risks using the prospectus. See the SEC Investor Bulletin and FINRA's leveraged ETP overview.
